Dana Valencia, M.D., FACC, FSCAI, joined the Moberly Regional Medical Center medical staff and Moberly Heart and Vascular in September 2021. Dr. Valencia's practice specializes in a variety of cardiology treatments and diagnoses.
Dr. Valencia received his medical degree from University of Illinois-Peoria. He completed a family medicine internship at Western Reserve Care System Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He completed an internal medicine residency at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, and his cardiology fellowship at St. Louis University.
Dr. Valencia has almost 30 years of experience with nearly 20 in cardiology. Prior to joining the MRMC medical staff, Dr. Valencia practiced cardiology at Hannibal Clinic, a member of Blessing Health System; Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo.; St. Louis Cardiology Center; and Cardiovascular Consultants of Naperville. He also was an Army physician for the U.S. Army Reserves.
Dr. Valencia is a member of multiple professional societies including American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, Society of Nuclear Medicine, American Society of Internal Medicine, American Society of Echocardiography and American Heart Association.
